Lexicon at Brighton Festival (preview, BN1 Magazine)

In their new production Lexicon, internationally renowned NoFit State Circus present a daring, seductive and utterly contemporary take on the conventional circus experience. Drawing inspiration from history, heritage and traditions, Lexicon digs into the underground of memory and celebrates the past, present and future of British circus to celebrate this year’s 250th anniversary of the art. The show was crafted for a seated audience in the round and combines top of the art technology with spectacular circus skills, brilliant live music and a world where reality ends and magic begins. This new, seated show is more accessible to families, younger kids and their grandparents, giving everyone the ability to run away with the circus for two hours. NoFit State Circus have been performing for over 30 years, have pioneered the art of contemporary circus and today are the UK’s leading large-scale contemporary circus company.
