Washington - Washington (EP review, university assessment)

From love songs to politically charged ones, Washington’s self-titled debut EP covers all common topics we expect from an alternative rock band these days. The five piece have been working on their music for a year now and have in that time been through several line-up changes to finally get to the sound that represents the band today. With instrumentals resembling major rock bands such as Green Day, Blink 182 and Nirvana as well as a strong, distortion based guitar front matched with a powerful vocal line up, these men well deserve the rise in popularity they have seen since their debut release.
